Shapes
& Surfaces |
Flat |
For
the flat products, you can use any of our printing machines from our pad printing
range. Depending on the material, substrate of the component, the print area,
the complexity of the artwork to be printed, the output desired, the no of colors
in the artwork, we can help you decide which modle of ours will suffice in fulfilling
your printing machine requirement. E.g: Printing on foot rulers, on reflectors, flat
lids, caps, flat bottles ballast etc are examples of flat printing |

Concave |
While screen printing, hot stamping,
and heat transfer decorating is generally limited to printing on flat components
or flat image locations, Batra pad printing and Automation offer you systems by
which you can decorate even concave surfaces. Golf balls is a good example of
the flexibility of pad printing. The pad printing process can successfully transfer
an image onto a golf ball despite its round shape and concave dimples. |
| |
Convex |
Like concave objects, pad printing
also extends to printing on convex objects. This is one of the biggest advantage
of pad printing. Rubber Ball, bottles, capacitor, starters, ball pen, oval shaped
bottles, automotive products like wiper knobs, mixer grinder housings etc are
some of the examples of concave printing. From single-six colors you can print
them all. | | |
Round |
One of the basic advantages of Pad
Printing is that apart from flat it can print on round, circular surfaces too.
Though not 360 degrees, but as a thumb rule but it can cover a maximum of 120
degrees of a circumference. The BATECH brand of pad printing machine can print
on parts with slight tapers, or complete round like bottles, The machines for
printing on squeezable PP, HDPE bottles are equipped with an air inflation system
With our pad printers, we have successfully delivered single-multicolor systems
for printing on round objects such as coffee mugs, syringes, ball pen barells, hose
pipes, brake hose, small pharma bottles, cosmetic bottles, nail polish bottles,
metal hollow bars, meter wheels, toys, rubber ball, cricket ball, fire safety
cylinders etc. Specific shaped pads are required to print on a round object so
as to maintain the clarity and straightness of the matter to be printed. |

Irregular Surfaces |
Pad Printing's real magic lies in
its ability to print on irregular surfaces, surfaces with small ups and downs
which are not very pointed for example golf balls, walnuts, components with rough
surfaces, grainy surfaces.
Painted &
Coated | We can
decorate practically any kind of plastic, glass, or metal product, including components
that are spray painted or coated or electroplated or lacquered. We work very closely
with Marabu, one of the leading pad printing ink company in the world who strive
to provide us with the inks that will offer the best adhesion to any part, including
those with painted or coated finishes. Few examples are computer, UPS, TV panels
made of abs which are spray painted or ball pen barells, painted crowns, mobile
housings, ballasts, metal cans etc
|
Embossed or
Raised Surfaces | With
pad printing even the most challenging jobs become easy.It is possible to even
print on images or areas which are embossed or raised from the actual base area.
For eg:Samsonite logos, VIP logos which are embossed on injection moulded luggage
components, Ajanta, colgate name embossed on Toothbrushes. |
| |
Lowered Surfaces |
Challenges are always welcome at
Batra pad printing and this is proven by us by developing solution for printing
on products where it is difficult for a normal pad to print or impossible for
other processes like screen printing, hot stamping etc. We have made it possible
to print on products using pad printing on products where the pad has to go below
the surface of the product and print somewhere inside . For such applications
special pads need to be moulded or small pads need to be made. eg: printing on
the bottom side inside a plastic closure, eyes of doll, toys, automotive horn. |
